1. MSc International Management : a Bachelor's degree in a related subject, such as management, business studies,marketing, economics, accounting and finance.

2. MSc Finance and Investment : applicants should have previously completed some undergraduate modules in Accounting and Finance.

3. MSc International Business : a Bachelor's degree in a non-business related subject (Business Studies and Applicable Finance graduates may not apply).

4. MSc Tourism Management and Marketing

5. MA Interpreting and Translation, Mandarin and English : a Bachelor's in any subject and very strong English and Chinese language skills. Applicants with English as a second language should have a good undergraduate degree. Applicants with Chinese as a second language should have a degree at Upper Second level or equivalent.

6. MA International Communications Studies / MA Contemporary Chinese Studies/MA Global Governance : is open to graduates of all subjects.

7. MA Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching : must have a first degree (BA) in a relevant subject English Studies, Linguistics, etc.), and require a minimum of two years of approved teaching experience (or equivalent).

8. MA Applied Linguistics / MA Applied Linguistics with World Englishes pathway : must have a first degree (BA) in a relevant subject (English Studies, Linguistics, etc.).

9. MRes (Masters by Research) : a Bachelor's degree at 2:1 level or above (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject.

       - TOEFL (paper based) 525 + TWE no less than 4.0 or

       - IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.0 in any element
       - TOEFL (paper based) 550 + TWE no less than 4.0 or
       - TOEFL (IBT) 79 (minimum 17 in any element)



For MA Applied Linguistics/MA Applied Linguistics and English Language
Teaching/MA Applied Linguistics with World Englishes pathway

       - IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.0 in any element
       - TOEFL (paper based) 550 + TWE no less than 4.0 or
       - TOEFL (IBT) 79 (minimum 17 in any element)

Minimum English Language Requirement

       - IELTS 6.5 with the writing band no less than 6.0 or
       - TOEFL (paper based) 573 + TWE no less than 4.5 or
       - TOEFL (IBT) 88 (no less than 19 in any element)

For MA Interpreting and Translation, Mandarin and English

       - IELTS 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in any element
       - TOEFL (paper based) 600 + TWE no less than 4.5 or
       - TOEFL (IBT) 100 (minimum 19 in any element)

For MRes

       - IELTS 6.5 or 7.0, depending on the area of study.
